  • CONTROL REDEFINES MOTORSPORT CONNECTIVITY WITH NEW ACM PRODUCT FAMILY AT PMW EXPO

At this year’s PMW Expo, Control – the market leader in cellular connectivity for motorsport – has unveiled its new ACM family of Advanced Connectivity Modules.

The company also announced the next generation of its cloud connectivity platform, Control Connect, which introduces a new CAN-based lightweight data viewer Control.Live.

    ACM professional range

    ACM-Pro Ultra

The flagship ACM-Pro Ultra features four 5G modems with EUICC SIMs, providing access to advanced 5G technologies that are not available via roaming SIMs – including 5G slicing for guaranteed bandwidth. It also supports private 5G for customers needing the highest levels of connectivity.

The unit integrates extensive in-car connectivity, including six Ethernet ports, Wi-Fi, two CAN FD, two RS232, 32GB of internal storage and USB logging, alongside driver ID-based heart-rate sensor integration via Bluetooth.

For the first time, Control introduces real-time video compression and streaming to the Control Connect platform. An HDMI connection and hardware H.265 compression support a circuit-based, Simulink-driven approach to managing video bandwidth.

Like the Control TLM-P1 Evo, the new ACM-Pro Ultra supports MRTC Ltd full duplex HD audio with RF fallback – all within a footprint smaller than the already compact TLM-P1 Evo, Control’s highly successful telemetry device.

Deliveries will commence in Q1 2026.

    ACM-Pro Nano

The new Advanced Connectivity Modules family also includes the ACM-Pro Nano, the smallest two-modem device in motorsport. Designed for single-seater and other space-constrained applications, it delivers Control’s proven multi-modem performance in a compact package, complete with a two-port Ethernet switch, CAN FD, RS232, 32GB of internal storage and USB logging.

    Deliveries commence in H2 2026.

    OEM range

Alongside the professional line-up, Control has introduced a new OEM range. Built on the same modular architecture, it allows vehicle manufacturers to specify the interfaces and connectors most relevant to them – reducing BOM when deploying fleet management systems.

This enables cost-effective, data-driven fleet management, helping manufacturers understand how vehicles are used and providing proactive support to reduce on-track failures and improve overall performance.

OEM products are built to order and subject to MOQ. Please contact Control for details and to discuss your project.

    Next-generation Control Connect platform

Coinciding with the ACM launch, Control is introducing the latest version of its Control Connect cloud platform. The updated dashboard offers drag-and-drop device configuration and manufacturer-controlled fleet-wide settings for common parameters such as CAN speeds, RS232 settings, and IP addresses.

A new flexible permissions model ensures that data is secure and the right data is available to the right people at the right time.

Control has also added CAN-based data streaming, allowing simple integration with manufacturer and series big data platforms, third-party strategy, race management, broadcast, and KPI services – all configured by uploading DBC files. This approach provides an easy, scalable, and logger-agnostic way to connect race vehicles with cloud-based services.

Leveraging this new platform capability is Control.Live, a new lightweight web-based telemetry viewer. It enables teams to monitor health and safety items on vehicles that do not otherwise support telemetry, including TCR or single-make cars competing in series such as Creventic.

The new platform goes live in early Q1 2026, with existing customers migrated in a managed programme.

The TLM-P1 Evo and TLM-P2 devices will remain available and fully supported on the new platform, gaining access to all upcoming features.
