18 Oct Control Joins Westbase Group to Expand Networking Capabilities and Resources
Control Limited, automotive software and connectivity specialist, has been acquired by the Westbase Group. With an existing track record of success, demonstrated by its TLM-Pro motorsport telemetry modem and services, the move will build on this and provide Control with access to greatly extended networking capabilities and resources.

Control will continue to operate independently, but will have access to the Westbase Group’s resource and experience. Other companies in the Group include Westbase Technology, leading European distributor of 4G LTE and hybrid networking solutions, and Westbase Technology Solutions, a premier distribution services provider.
Leveraging cloud, software-defined and cellular technologies, the Westbase Group is well respected and reputed for delivering highly secure, reliable and flexible networking solutions into a broad range of industries and applications, and is responsible for running networks for hundreds of SMEs and blue-chip companies alike through their channel.
The addition of Control to the Group extends its reach into automotive telemetry as well as adding new software service capabilities. In return, Control will benefit from the Group’s extensive experience in the cellular networking arena, and its established resources which will help to extend its current motorsport software offering, as well as tackle other Internet of Things development opportunities. Key assets which Control will benefit from include access to leading network monitoring tools, a larger team of experienced networking professionals, and expanded business capabilities, such as sales and marketing.
